The Animal Medical Center is located at 142B North Bond Street, Bel Air, MD 21014. We are a full service animal hospital providing well animal care, surgery and non-invasive procedures, dentistry, care for sick animals and acupuncture. We offer HomeAgain microchipping to increase the chances of a safe recovery. We provide seperate cat and dog boarding as a sevice to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available. You can take advantage of puppy day care, companion animal pickup and delivery, and even house calls in the local area.
Our in-house laboratory provides for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostic testing and consultations. We do provide electrocardiography services on site as well.
Boarding Services: Dogs that are boarding with us get 3 long walks and 2 short walks as well as play time that is all inclusive in our boarding prices. Cats are boarded seperately from dogs. They get all the loving and care from our staff. All pets should be up to date on their vaccines boarding. Dogs: DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies. Cats: FVRCP and Rabies.
Puppy Day Care - What do you do with that new puppy when you go to work? Now you can relax. The Animal Medical Center offers day care. Your puppy will be learning basic skills and house training. Even in a crate, a young puppy just can't make it 8 hours without an accident. Your puppy will also learn to play with other dogs and meet new people. Your puppy will be less likely to be afraid when you clip its nails or check its teeth. Best of all you will have a happier more well adjusted new friend.
Pet pick up and house calls (local area): Sometimes it may be just too dificult to bring your pet to us. We will come to you! We can pick up your pet or the Doctor will visit your home.
Appointments are always encouraged, but we will certainly fit you in if you are unable to schedule in advance.
